Source quality

Official source facts first. Firm context only when you provide it.

TenderLead is built to support BID/SKIP judgement, not hide uncertainty behind a score. This page explains which sources are live, what remains pilot coverage, and how bidder-specific context is kept separate from public procurement facts.

UK live sources.

TenderLead starts with official procurement material because the buyer's own notice is the strongest available record. Source links stay visible in the briefing so a bid team can check the reasoning quickly.

Contracts Finder

Used for UK public-sector notices below and around the Find a Tender threshold, including smaller buyer opportunities that can still be a strong fit.

Find a Tender

Used for higher-value UK notices and procurement-route signals where the opportunity is published centrally.

Public Contracts Scotland

Used for Scottish public-sector opportunities where source links, buyer details, dates and contract fields are extractable.

Sell2Wales

Direct Sell2Wales ingestion is paused while the Sell2Wales API is unavailable upstream. Welsh notices above the procurement thresholds reach TenderLead through Find a Tender, and direct coverage resumes automatically once the API is restored.

Pilot coverage is labelled separately.

Some sources are useful but not yet treated as ordinary public self-serve coverage. They are monitored only where links are extractable and reviewable.

US private pilot

SAM.gov opportunities and USAspending.gov award context are active for private testing. They are not sold as normal self-serve coverage yet.

US state and local portals

California, Texas, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania are watched only where public access and source quality allow useful review.

One blocked or changed portal should not stop UK delivery. Source failures should degrade cleanly and remain visible in internal health checks.

How TenderLead keeps scoring honest.

A useful tender score has to show why it was produced. TenderLead keeps opportunity facts, model inference and bidder-specific profile context visibly separate.

Source facts

Notice metadata, buyer details, lot structure, value range, deadline, route and attached tender documents remain tied back to the original source.

Firm context

Your sectors, target buyers, framework positions, compliance readiness, past wins and no-bid rules are used only when you provide them.

Bid burden

Compliance prompts, evidence gaps and likely bid burden are surfaced as reasons before bid-writing time is committed.

Challengeable reasoning

A BID, REVIEW or SKIP label is an aid to judgement. It should be clear enough for a bid lead to challenge quickly.
